Tom Brady is truly one of the greatest quarterback in NFL. He plays for the New England Patriots in his number 12 jersey. Born on 3rd August, 1977 his full name is Thomas Edward Patrick Brady, Jr. He is the 4th child and only son of his mother, Galynn Patricia who is of Norwegian, Polish, and Swedish descent and his father Thomas Brady, Sr. who is of Irish descent. His elder sisters are Nancy, Julie, and Maureen. He is a big fan of Joe Montana, who was also a quarterback, and regarded him as an inspiration and an idol. From a very early age Tom used to watch San Francisco 49ers at Candlestick Park and attended 1981 NFC Championship at age 4. As a child he was coached by camp counselor and quarterback Tony Graziani.

Tom joined New England Patriots in year 2000. Out of the 14 seasons he has played for Patriots, Patriots have never lost any season and have won 13 division titles. They have also won 6 AFC Championships in this period. Due to a bad knee injury in the first game of 2008 season, Brady missed rest of the 2008 season. He has won 3 Super Bowl Most Valued Player and 2 league Most Valued Player in years 2007 and 2010. He has won the most playoff games than any other quarterback. His career passing rate is 96.6. He has won multiple NFL MVP and Super Bowl MVP awards. After the 2007 NFL record 50 touchdown passes, Associated Press named him Male Athlete of the Year. He has led the Patriots to a 16-0 record win in this season. After his 2008 injury Brady returned to NFL the following year and won NFL Comeback Player of the year in 2009. Brady was also selected to 11 Pro Bowls during his career. In his career he is ranked 5th in passing yards and 3rd in touchdown passes. He led Patriots to 21 consecutive wins during 2003 and 2004 season. Brady and Patriots have together won 172 regular season games and 22 postseason games.
Early life of Tom Brady
Tom went to Junipero Serra High School in San Mateo. In high school he played football, basketball and baseball. After his superb play in 2012 Super Bowl, School administrators named the football stadium Brady Family Stadium. He played both baseball and football equally well. But because of his passion for football he chose football over baseball. He started his football career in Padres JV Team in his junior year. He graduated from St. Mary’s Cathedral in year 1995. During his high school career he had completed 236 of 447 passes for 3,702 yards and 31 touchdowns. Tom played and graduated from University of Michigan. He started playing for the university in year 1995 as a backup quarterback. Initially he didn’t get much playing time and had to hire a sports psychologist. Greg Harden (Assistant Athletic Director) helped him cope and build confidence, for which Tom still regards him as someone whom he can rely for sound advice and mentorship. In the following years Tom played very well. He was ranked third in Michigan history for 442 completions and 710 attempts and ranked fifth for 35 touchdown passes.
Tom’s Personal Life
Tom dated actress Bridget Moynahan from 2004 to 2006. They separated in early December 2006, three months following which on 18th February, Bridget confirmed that she was three months pregnant with Brady’s child. Bridget gave birth to their son, John Edward Thomas Moynahan, in August 2007 in California.
Brady started dating Brazilian super model Gisele Bundchen in December 2006. They got married on 26th February, 2009 in Santa Monica. They have two children. Their son, Benjamin Rein Brady, was born in December 2009 and daughter Vivian Lake Brady, was born in December 2012.
